What Billable is

Billable (billable.dev) is a free, browser-based invoice generator. You may use it for personal or commercial purposes at no charge.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee availability, and we may change or discontinue features at any time. Because your data is stored in your own browser, we cannot recover invoices lost to cleared browser data, device changes, or anything else — export JSON backups of anything you'd mind losing.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site — including blog posts about invoicing, payment terms, or taxes — is legal, tax, or accounting advice. Invoice requirements vary by country and situation; consult a qualified professional for yours.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of invoices you create, including any tax you're required to charge and any information your jurisdiction requires invoices to carry. Don't use the site to produce fraudulent documents.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billable and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, lost revenue, or disputes with your clients.
