What Pro buys
Your branding, not ours
Remove the “created with billable.dev” line from the printed invoice, set your own accent color, and choose between three templates: the default Modern, a serif ruled Classic, and an ultra-clean Minimal. All three print pixel-perfect — the preview is exactly what your client receives.
Estimates that become invoices
Flip any document to an estimate: it retitles itself, switches to an EST- number, and shows “valid until” instead of a due date. When the client says yes, one click converts it into a fresh invoice with the next INV number.
Recurring without a billing system
For retainers and monthly clients: “duplicate for next month” copies a saved invoice with the issue and due dates advanced one month and a fresh number. And “download calendar reminder” gives you a proper .ics file with a monthly repeat — your calendar chases the date so you don't have to.
Per-client defaults
Type the name of a client you've saved an invoice for and Billable offers to prefill their hourly rate, tax setup, currency, and payment terms from the last invoice you sent them. Derived from your saved invoices in your browser — nothing new is collected.
Export everything

FAQ
- Is Billable Pro a subscription?
- Your choice. The $4/mo plan is billed $24 every 6 months and you can cancel anytime — Pro stays on through the end of the period you paid for. Or pay $79 once for a lifetime license with nothing to cancel because nothing renews.
- Where is my invoice data stored after I buy Pro?
- Same place as before: your browser's localStorage. Buying Pro doesn't change the architecture — the only things stored on a server are your license key and the Stripe checkout session id used to issue it. Invoice contents, clients, and rates still never leave your machine.
- I got a new device or cleared my browser. How do I get Pro back?
- Use your license key. Go to billable.dev/pro/activate, paste the key (it looks like BLL-XXXXX-XXXXX), and Pro turns on in that browser. Buy once, activate anywhere.
- Does the free version lose anything?
- No. Everything that's free today stays free: the generator, git log import, CSV/JSON import and export of single invoices, saving, and printing. Pro only adds on top.
- What if I lose my license key?
